You can become a sponsor by downloading the online sponsorship form (click link to sponsorship form). There are many opportunities for sponsorship, including but not limited to: WOMEN LEAD® Magazine; Friday Reception Sponsorship; Saturday Conference Luncheon Sponsorship; Saturday Reception Sponsorship; Sisterhood Breakfast Sponsorship; Friend and Listings Sponsorships.  Sponsorship of the Women of Color Empowerment Conference is money well spent!

How soon should I register for the conference? 2017-12-13T15:42:26+00:00

We encourage you to register online for the conference as soon as possible.  The conference has sold out each year for the past seven years several weeks prior to the conference start date.

You should register online at nationalwomenofcolor.com. If there is a problem registering, our staff can try to assist you by telephone at the contact number below.

Try to register online before calling our in-house staff.  Note, registration is easy and there is a 24 hour technical assistance help line available on our website.

Can children under the age of 18 attend? 2017-12-13T15:43:10+00:00

The Women of Color Empowerment Institute, Inc., will invite ten (10) girls, under the age of 18, to meet with some of our special guests and assist at the conference. If you have a name of a young lady that you would like considered for this opportunity, please provide the name, parent’s name, address, telephone number and your relationship with the teen.  Due to the fact that the conference is generally sold out weeks in advance, we will be focusing on our target audience of women leaders for conference attendance.

May I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend the comedy show or conference? 2017-12-13T15:44:24+00:00

If you registered but are unable to attend the conference weekend programming, you may transfer your registration to another individual by calling the contact number below. We will need written confirmation from you of the name of the person to whom the transfer should be made. Transfers will not be accommodated after September 1, 2018.

Can men attend conference events? 2017-12-13T15:45:34+00:00

We love our men!  We encourage men to join us for our Friday evening Reception to take place at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa – 3030 Holiday Drive Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.  Doors open at 6:00 PM.  Of course, men who are representatives of sponsoring organizations are welcomed to attend all conference activities.

Why do I see different prices for various conference events? 2017-12-13T15:47:20+00:00

Tickets cannot be purchased individually.  There is one low price for the entire Women of Color Empowerment Conference weekend September 7th through 9th.  Before July 1, 2018, the weekend events will cost $275.00; after July 1st, the weekend will cost $300.00.  Tickets can only be purchased online at nationalwomenofcolor.com.  Group rates for 15 people or more are available by calling 954-900-3494 and leaving your contact information. You will receive a return call.

What does the conference registration fee include? 2017-12-13T15:47:54+00:00

Registration includes access to our programming on Friday, September 7, 2018, which will kick off with a “fireside chat” starting at 4:00 PM and a Welcome Reception to follow starting at 6:00 PM. The registration also includes all programming for all day Saturday, September 8, 2018, starting at 8:00 AM and ending with a WOCEI party starting at 4:00 PM.  The registration also includes the Spirit of Sisterhood Breakfast on Sunday, September 9 2017 starting at 8:00 AM.  Don’t be left out!
